Workforce Re-Employment Center

In 2017 Workforce Snohomish and The Workforce Development Council of Seattle-King County received federal and state funding to provide targeted services to eligible aerospace workers and family members impacted by the Boeing layoffs. Those impacted range from direct Boeing employees, on-site contractors, and supply chain workers.

Regardless of previous employer, dislocated aerospace workers and their families may be eligible for services; assistance provided by these grants are designed to steer laid-off workers into gainful employment. There is never any charge for services provided through the WorkSource Centers.

Services may include:

  • Specialized job search
  • Resume development
  • In-demand career training
  • Relocation assistance
  • Healthcare tax credits
  • Retraining allowance
  • Family member resources
  • and much more
